So, ‘watching too much criminal drama: Part II’ LOL! So I attended a high profile function this morning. Assumption is people present are secure, as in no thugs etc. After the 1st part of the function, this ‘safe’ looking lady starts chatting me up saying I look familiar. Asks where I am headed? To the luncheon that’s being served across the highway. She says she’s parked her car far, could I give her a ride nearer to the car? Makes sense, cos if you didn’t have a VIP parking pass, you had to park further out from the venue. As I say my goodbyes to colleagues I notice she’s now joined to me at the hip, practically. So I head out and she’s at the car with me. We get in, I ask her where she’s parked exactly? Says to drop her at the bus stage. Ala!, what happened to her car ‘parked far’, I wonder? I start to pray for protection and for God to thwart her efforts if she’s up to no good. I realize I can’t ‘lose’ her at this point so we head out. I decide not to drop her at the bus stage either just in case she’s got people waiting. So I drop her off several meters before the stage, citing possible traffic hitches. She’s so grateful, blesses me and gets off the car. Now am feeling bad for doubting her but I race off with some defensive driving-just to be sure.

Yes, I am watching way to much criminal drama!
