So, about eight years back an Angel gifted me this blog on my birthday. He had followed my posts of FB and thought I should have a blog. That began a more systematic collection of my short stories. A few years later, for reasons that are for another day, I transferred administration of my blog to a Not-So-Little-Fella. Angel was still available every now and then when needed to fix something or other.

Then Not-So-Little-Fella went MIA. While he was away, my blog was hacked, hijacked and my posts were scrambled up with a lot of gibberish. All my efforts to trace Not-So-Little-Fella were futile. I sent emissaries, last known contacts, you name it but I didn’t get a call back. My WhatsApp chats were blue ticked, calls and text messages went unanswered with no call backs. Now, in my 53 years of life I have learnt not to judge others because you know not what their story or journey is. You don’t know what they are dealing with at any given time. So I let go of Not-So-Little-Fella with no hard feelings. I hoped and trusted that he was OK and sent up prayers for him. I went back to Angel to see if he could help revive my blog. He needed the credentials to the back office to be able to do anything. After a couple of years more of trying to get Not-So-Little-Fella to give us the credentials, I realized I was probably never going to get them. I asked Angel if there was any other way to get my website back.

Angel suggested that we create one from scratch. Luckily for me, after the subscription for the domain lapsed, it had not been taken up. Therefore, I searched and signed up a fresh for the domain. Angel took over administration of the site and learnt that my website had been tagged by Google as a dangerous site following the hijack, me thinks. He wrote to Google to untag and clear the site-I am not sure what the specifics entailed, except that he got it done. Fortunately, he still had a backup that was done before the hack that had my posts up to 2017. He uploaded this. Even though I lost my posts after September 2017, I am just glad that I still have some posts prior to that date.

This new chapter came with a customized email address that I was thrilled about. Sadly, since reviving the website and email domain, I have been hacked again and I lost my email messages. We still had the original blog backup that we restored, but the email messages were lost. Angel has now put in more measures to secure the website. This is my first post since the rebirth of www.tandyombogo.com. Hopefully, I will be able to add a post each week, lol. So help me God.

I’d like to thank you, Friends, for taking time to read this, and hopefully, we shall continue to interact on this platform. I truly appreciate your support in reading my posts. Baraka tele [Loads of blessings] everyone!

P.S. I’d like to thank Angel for his kindness and tireless support in, not only reviving my website, but being willing to check and address all the issues that come up concerning my website. Thank you Angel, you know yourself 🙂
