Interesting interpretation

So a while back I asked our security guard to was my car every Saturday morning, which he has done faithfully. When he’s away from work on a Saturday, he does it as soon as he returns. And I always admire his dedication, never have had to remind him to do it. Last Saturday he didn’t wash the car though he was on duty. I wondered why. So yesterday (Sunday) I asked him why he did’t wash the car? He said that he washes the car on Saturday morning when I am out running. When I unlock the car, that’s his cue to wash the car, and he’s done by the time I return, he said. Last Saturday I didn’t run so he didn’t wash the car, he said. You see, I unlock the car to get my earphones, and then go ahead and leave it unlocked so he can wash inside as well. My main reason for unlocking the car is never for the washing, but for other things I need from the car, or to leave in the car. Since I didn’t need to do either on Saturday morning, I didn’t unlock the car. So it was very interesting to hear his interpretation of my unlocking the car.  Still tickled…
